Security behind the door wings
The OA-Presence T can be used as a safety sensor behind the door wings. By installing the sensor on the fixed panel, the OA-Presence T will secure this entire area and prevent the door to hit someone or something during the opening cycle.
Side screen safety
The Optex OA-Presence T is the ideal sensor for Side screen safety in combination with external activators like push buttons, access control or activation sensors. Through the use of the OA-Presence T the clear opening is fully secured and prevents the door from closing prematurely. Upon detection during the closing movement of the doors, it will open again.
Presence detection
The active infra-red presence detection of the OA-Presence T can be set very accurately and up to 5 ° towards or away from the door. If the sensor is used as side screen safety, the use of photocells is no longer necessary. The sensor detects a person or an object and ensures that the door remains open as long as they are in the Side screen safety area, even if they stop or pause. The Optex OA-Presence T is tested and approved by the German test organization TÜV and approved by the latest European standards such as DIN 18650 and EN 16 005.
Fitting
By installing the OA-Presence T on a mounting bracket (not included) it is easy to build-in the sensor into the cover. The sensor is accessible from the bottom, thereby it can be set and adjusted without removing the cover of the door.
